What is the Dermapen system?
The Dermapen is a micro-needle device that works to firm, lift and rejuvenate the skin.
It is an electronic device approved by the FDA that uses multiple fine needles vertically to pierce the skin, at a certain depth for each area and each pathology to be treated, causing a stimulus that will result in the production of collagen.
It is a treatment to promote the production of the patient’s own collagen (autologous collagen). It is effective in reducing expression lines, wrinkles, minimizing stretch marks, scars and acne marks.
It is an ideal treatment for the improvement of wrinkles, scars and stretch marks located in any area of the body.
The depth of the needle can be adjusted during the course of the procedure to accommodate different treatment areas and can be easily maneuvered around facial contours and delicate areas such as the eyes, nose, and mouth.

Treatment
Each session lasts between 30-60 minutes. It is done in the consultation itself and on an outpatient basis.
Anesthesia
Previously, the area to be treated is covered with an anesthetic ointment that leaves the area insensitive.
Post-treatment evolution
Slight redness for 12-24 hours. There will be a gradual improvement in the skin due to an increase in the new collagen that has been created after the stimulation of the secretory cells.
