Exfoliation is a process by which, naturally or with cosmetic help, cellular renewal is carried out by eliminating the dead. This process is used to improve the appearance of skin that can be affected by the sun, acne, soot, and pollution to which it is exposed on a daily basis.
This cleaning is an important step in the care of the skin, especially in the parts that are more exposed such as the face, arms, and legs or for rough areas such as elbows, knees, and heels. However, it is advisable not to abuse these treatments, since they could generate irritations and skin lesions.
In the market different products are offered for this purpose, however, most of them come loaded with chemicals and other materials that could generate an allergic reaction. For this reason, we bring you 5 lines of exfoliants that you can prepare at home with simple and natural ingredients.

If you are going to exfoliate the whole body, it is advisable to start at the extremities and direct it towards the heart to favor circulation. At the end of the massage, remove the products with plenty of warm water.
After this process, the skin remains receptive to subsequent treatments, so it is recommended to hydrate with a product. Similarly, since a small layer of skin cells has been removed, you should apply sunscreen and protect yourself from sun exposure to avoid staining your skin.
